@BoomBoom:  I’m interested in hearing more opinions regarding this post as well. My FH were looking last night and narrowed it down to the Sandals Antigua or the Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia. I like that w/ the St. Lucia resorts you can take a shuttle to any of the resorts and that’s included and I like La Toc because there’s a golf course {despite still needing to pay for a caddy.. grrr}. I think there is quite a bit of stuff to do in St. Lucia as well, if you’re interested in adventure; Pitons, ziplining, drive-thru volcano, etc. I’m not sure about Antigua.

Another one I had considered is the Sandals in Grenada, it doesn’t open until 12/12/13 but we had planned on going around then anyways. Trouble is, there aren’t really any photos to know what we’re signing up for and who knows if it’s a good idea to book something the first week it opens!

I am a Sandals/Beaches fanatic..

Sandals Grande St Lucian 100%!!! Loved it so much.Take a helicopter transfer to your hotel from UVF airport though….it’s not a fun 2 1/2 hour journey by van.

Also i’m positive the Grenada sandals is going to be beautiful, I would do that one too!

I’ve never been, but I did hear that the Sandals Grande St Lucia is in the process of building overwater bungalows.  I’m not sure when they will be complete (I thought this year), but they sound amazing!  I like that diving is included there (if you are certified).

I just literally read an article that the resort they are renovating in Grenada and turning into a Sandals (was LeSource) is undergoing a 90million dollar renovation and aims to be the must luxurious sandals yet…food for thought!

also my favourite resort ever has just been bought by the 5 star chain “Secrets Resorts” in barbados. (previously the 3 star Almond Causiarina) and that should be amazing. I would consider that as another option. we loved the resort as a 3 star so i can’t imagine what it would be like after the renovations and turning it into a 5 star…

I was very unimpressed with Antigua. Although food was awesome!

@Britt214:  Yea! do a boat tour of the island and 100 million percent go see the pitons…it is a glorious sight!! if you’re outdoorsy you can even hike them.

Don’t go to a jump up party, it’s terrifying.

I’ve never been to a Sandals resort, but Fiance and I decided on going to Emerald Bay! We are delaying our honeymoon and going in November 🙂 I’ve been following reviews for SEB on Trip Advisor the last couple of months and they are all consistently positive! Fiance and I typically love night life, but we wanted to go somewhere quiet and romantic for our honeymoon- from what I understand Sandals Emerald Bay is gorgeous and romantic, but there isn’t much nightlife. That works for us, just depends on what you like! They have golf course too and you can scuba dive if you’re certified =) AND you can swim with little pigs on a nearby island! lol! I can’t wait for that 🙂

HeLovesDogs:  How did you all like Sandals Emerald Bay? My husband and I have been to Grande Antigua twice now and cannot say enough good things about it. Right now I am researching Emerald Bay and Grande St. Lucia. We went zip lining and toured around Antigua so we are good with this being a spa/beach vacation! We do like a little to go on in the evenings. Maybe some steel drums outside?? I thought I would see how you liked it. I came upon this post in my searching.
