My sis and bro in law went there a few years ago for their anniversary.  Had a rondoval?  It was a good trip, but they said there were alot of people/couples there that drank alot at the pools and got a little out of hand to be adults and they got chased by some wild dogs on the beach. One of their "neighbors" in the nearby roundoval got a little amorously enthusiastic and when they were outside in their own pool, kept hearing them…(you get the picture).   They said the food was pretty good.  Room nice, but felt they didn’t have enough privacy in roundoval. Overall they liked it, but really enjoyed their trip to the fairmont mayakoba (mayan riviera but not best time to go to mexico imho) and adored going to Round HIll in Montego Bay Jamaica.

Are you guys dead set on Antigua? I dont want to burst any bubbles but some friends of ours just got back from that Sandals with pretty poor reviews. I know everyone’s experience is different though so that doesn’t mean it will be a bust for you by any means, but if you do have the ability to switch I’d go to one of the Sandals in St. Lucia- still tropical, still lots to do on the island, and 3 resorts to hop around to, all included. If you can’t switch or don’t want to, I’m sure you will still have a good time. They did have a great time I think they just weren’t happy with that Sandals.

Me and my fiance went to the jolly beach resort in antigua all-inclusive which faced the west so the sunsets were awesome, the staff was fun, we met a couple on a boat trip who came from sandals they liked it but they didnt face the west and so they didn’t get any sunsets, in addition, looking at their beachstrip it wasn’t as wide as ours was, another English couple from our resort at the jolly beach said ours had the biggest beach strip when we walked around they were right everyone else’s was cramped even sandals when our boat approached it had a much more narrow strip of beach than where we stayed. Plus the couple from sandals didnt think the people were as nice as the sandals in Jamaica, whereas we loved our staff in our resort. hmmmm

the good thing about sandals is its adults only, I’ll give them that

We went to Sandals Antigua for our honeymoon and loved it!  We had a great experience and I really would recommend it to anyone.
