I haven’t personally been but a co-worker just got back from a week at the Sandals in St. Lucia. She said she loved everything about it. Drinks on the beach, great food, she used the spa. The rooms and pool were amazing. She certainly made me want to go!

@Dawn1234: I don’t know where you are from but we went to the Grand Palladium Resort in Riviera Maya Mexico. We went for 8 days 7 nights and including airfare it was only $2400 total. It was also all inclusive 🙂

@Dawn1234: I haven’t but my friend went to Sandals in St. Lucia for her honeymoon. She loved it, they had a great time but she did mention she thought it was overpriced for what it was.

We’re going to Sandals in Antigua for our honeymoon. We were looking at Sandals resorts because they make it easy, stress free, etc. After all this wedding planning, the last thing I want to do is have to plan my own honeymoon lol. Let them take care of it.
We were down to St. Lucia and Antigua, and although everyone had great things to say about both, those who had been to both said Antigua was the best one. I’ll let you know!! We’ll be there the 2nd week in March

I haven’t been to a Sandals YET. We leave next week for our anniversary trip and we are staying at the Sandals Royal Bahamian. We opted to for Sandals because we didn’t want to worry about settling our bill at the end of our trip. We just want to be able to relax on the beach with a drink in our hand and not flip out over the $20 the drink cost us.
We picked the Bahamas over St Lucia, because I’ve always wanted to go to the Bahamas and we are also spending a few night at Atlantis so we can enjoy their water park. (Kid at heart here).
I’ll update you after our trip if you’re still curious about Sandals in a couple of weeks 🙂

We have gone to two Sandals… Whitehouse and Antigua. We loved both of them and would go back. Do your research on each resort because there are Sandals locations that I would not go to.

What are the rooms like? The atmosphere? Do you feel really pampered? Is the food good?

I would pick couples over sandals anyday but couples is only in Jamaica.

@bluebelle23: I’ve never been to sandals whitehouse but I know it’s in the middle of nowhere, pretty much a very secluded resort and if you wanted to do an excursion you’d have a long drive. Plus it’s really far from the airport.

We went to Sandals Royal Bahamian for our honeymoon. We got a butler suite, which we thought was perfect for a honeymoon, but wouldn’t get for just a normal vacation. 5 of the 7 restaurants were excellent. Service was great. The pools were a bit crowded, but we didn’t mind because we had a butler who could reserve seats at the pool or a cabana on the private island for us.
The one con to Sandals is that pretty much everyone is on their honeymoon or celebrating an anniversary, so you won’t necessarily get any special treatment.

@bluebelle23: If money were no object, I would go to Antigua again. I loved both resorts, but I think that I loved Antigua a little bit more. We stayed on the Med side in Antigua which is the newer side. I would recommend that side if you are to go there. The Caribbean side is alot older. We met people that were staying over there and they regretted not getting the upgrade. We also thought that the food was generally better in Antigua. On the other hand, if you are a couple that LOVES the beach, Whitehouse is a better choice because the beach is pretty much private whereas, in Antigua you have people trying to sell you stuff constantly.
If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me. 🙂
