My Darling Husband and I are spending our second anniversary at the Sandals in St. Lucia. I was wondering if anyone that has stayed there done any of the tours and if so which ones? Did you like the ones you chose? We were thinking of the zipline, jeep discovery and waterfall discovery, land and sea adventure, horseback riding, or snuba surprise. Any comments or suggestions? TIA!

Omg, we did a few tours. You definitely have to do the jeep tour. I don’t remember the name of it but we booked it through the hotel (as opposed to the people on the beach that sell similar tours). The jeeps were painted like a zebra and there were no covers. Our tour guide was Wayne, he was the best, seriously. We went to the volcanos and to the sulfur pits. It was really nice, I highly recommend it. The ziplines were cool too. Its just that we were gone for most of the day, and when we came back we were so sweaty and gross from the mildew-y equipment.
We opted not to do more than 2 tours. We wanted to be sure to relax and just enjoy the resort. Becareful of the sketchy people on the beach. I’ve heard the tours are legit, they just aren’t as nice.

Thanks! Was the jeep tour an all day thing?

St Lucia is a great island. You’ll find that many of the resorts either rent or have bikes that you can use to go out and explore the island. St Lucia is home to the world’s only drive-in volcano crater, and there’s a working cocoa plantation on St Lucia as well.
St Lucia has some water fall tours that are very poplular too.
Have a great trip!

You’ll have to post how it goes! This is where we are going for our honeymoon. Sandals Grande. It looks amazing!

We are going next month, PM me in October and I’ll be sure to tell you what we do! The jeep tour sounds great though, I’ve done jeep tours in Portugal and Jamaica and always found them to be a great way to see a lot of things and get a bit of history too!

@jennalee333: I will!! I’ll post pictures when we get back. We wanted to stay at the Grande, but it was out of our price range. I’ll let you know how the restaurants are at the location. I heard the beaches are great.
@slicey19: Ok I will. I’m looking forward to hearing how your trip goes. I’m glad that the jeep tours seem popular. Have a wonderful time!
