My thoughts are pretty much this. There is conflicting things in a few videos I’ve watched, but I don’t know what to believe one way or the other.
MemberI dont think something to this magnitutude could be a hoax but I dont put down those who think it is. Everyone has there own thoughts and ideas about thing and we should all respect that.

MemberAfter reading the majority of these comments, I would be willing to bet that there is a strong correlation between people who are believing/perpetuating this nonsense and people who are anti-Obama. Just saying. I hope all of you people who are willing to play into this “theory” or lend it any credence are okay with the fact that you are participating in the terrorizing of an already grieving community. You should all be ashamed.

MemberIt is clear that some people will believe anything, particularly if it is shrouded in government conspiracy. I am struggling very hard not to say what is on my mind where these individuals are concerned.
MemberI voted for Obama. I do not own any guns. I do not believe in conspiracy theories in general but I am not nieve enough to believe that the government does not withhold information that they deem to believe that we do not need to know.

Being that my son’s daycare (aka grandma) is less than 5 miles from SHES I can set any doubter’s mind at ease and regretfully let you know it happened! Being from the area, it happened! It’s a God awful thing and a shame people trample the healing that is trying to happen with these ridiculous theories. My heart, soul and prayers go out to those families! I could never have the strength they’ve maintained through this.
MemberI’m so sick of this thread. It makes my stomach churn to think that there are people who believe that stupid video or who are questioning what happened because of it. They’d rather watch a badly edited video, filled with ridiculous claims, then actually take two or three minutes to find the actual story online.
To all the people who have offered their love and support to Newtown and the state of Connecticut, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To all those people who are questioning the story, please know that the claims in that video are flat out lies. Emilie Parker (and the rest of the victims too) died. Her father is grieving. All the families are grieving. There is no government coverup. And, as usual, the media decided to fuck things up by jumping all over a story and reporting facts BEFORE they had been verified by credible and named sources.
And to all the people (and I know this number is probably small) who either believe whole-heartedly that the theories are true or who are actively promoting the theories or who are creating theories. . . You obviously don’t care for the fact that there are multiple families grieving a horrible loss and you obviously could care less about the actual victims. I just want to say that you are disgusting. End of story.
MemberI feel the need to defend the parents who’s reactions were considered inappropriate. The truth is when someone so close to you passes you don’t have a whole lot of control over yourself. You laugh at strange things, you cry when you try to talk about it or you get a strange glazed over face when you share happy memories of your lost loved one. People have these ideas of how someone should act because of movies and TV. The truth is you have no idea how you will act. To many emotions. Waves of shock and denial go through you. Having been through it I won’t rip those parents apart because they aren’t “acting” like people think they should. Those interviews are taking place to soon after the tragedy. The parents haven’t fully grasped that all of it was real. The tears and reality hit later. They hit when you go home and see the clothes on the floor or the tooth brush on the sink. You smell the shampoo on the pillow. That’s when it’s real. In those first days and weeks it feels more like your out of your body. It’s a bad dream and you’re going to wake up. Waves of pain I can’t describe hit but for the most part you operate on autopilot.

One of those murdered children was the daughter of a friend of my husbands.
Insinuating that he – as a loving, doting, adoring father – could be paid off by the government to advance a liberal agenda by faking or allowing the violent bloody murder of his baby is offensive, absurd, and to be blunt… fucking STUPID.
If you honestly believe that 20 something mothers, fathers, plus their siblings, the town police, state police, and national guard are capable of such things – you are either not a parent, or you have a few screws loose. End of story.

MemberI have been doing more research. I posted this while in the middle of looking deeper into the claims. Like I said, I find it important to read into what we are told; whether it be that it is true, or it is false.
