YAY. IT’S HERE AND I FEEL LIKE I NEED TO TELL YOU GUYS. GET OUT NOW IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE LOOKING AT THOUSANDS OF PICTURES. WARNED YOU.
I keep looking at my set and I love it so so much. Incredibly happy seeing my design work out and finally on my finger. Feeling complete hahahaha
Background : Ering was made in Sydney, diamond from Perth, bands from LA. Fully customed.
Review on bands : David Klass had made 1 band first, but it wasn’t aligned properly and 1 sapphire had a tiny chip, so we sent it back and he made a whole new band to reset because he wasn’t satisfied with what he did as well. Overall, super happy with David’s work and service. (:

BEFORE: This, bees, was my photoshopped ring I did over a year ago. My “visualisation goal” lol π

AFTER: I would say it worked. π

The 3 rings stack on each other perfectly with no gaps and it looks like it’s one ring instead. How did they make it so perfect?!

ALSO, I found the PERFECT ring holder to me, it’s an antique and even though it’s too big for rings, I fell in love with it. Did a mini shoot of my rings in it.

Comparison to iphone pic (with filter lol)

DK’s pics of my husband’s matching band and my band π
Okay, that is all the pics (well no, I have 9377254729 more in my hard drive, not even ashamed)

HoneyV: It looks awesome! Honestly, I’d never heard of David Klass until he started blowing up these boards (not actually him, just Bees that have used him – and LOVED him) and I can see why he’s so popular now! How long did it take from first email to final product if you don’t mind me asking? I emailed him yesterday for my own custom wedding band lol.

Gorgeous set, I love how your DH’s band complements your set without being matchy-matchy.

FutureMrsJohnson_: Going through emails to figure it out haha. Okay, it took us about a month to give the go ahead and making the ring because of finance/timing/decision from the first email.
We split 3 bands into 2 groups :
– 1 gent’s band + 1 ladies band
– 1 ladies band
From the CAD onwards, about 2 weeks to make 1 gent’s band and 1 ladies band. Shipping to Australia was about 1 week (It was delayed because of a long weekend here). We sent back the ladies band because of misalignment and a small chip. The other ladies band was already started and finished in 2 weeks as well, then he made a new one to correct the 1st band after looking at the band, and shipped both out also in 2 weeks. Got it within 2 business days + weekend.
Hope this helps. π I also didn’t know about David Klass until after a few months of being on Weddingbee. If I known earlier, I would have asked him to do my ering. π

Sashley: Is yours french cut sapphires around the halo? π I like those a lot, but I went with baguette cut. Pictures!
I had to research quite a bit to find out what I picture in my head are actually called. (Before this, I have 0 clue on rings/cuts/settings)
If I wore only one ring with no wedding band, I would have loved this one with french cut sapphires and the side knot thingies (no idea what is it called). sooo simple and pretty. Maybe in the future xD

Thank you for such kind words ladies! π
