I looove all the sapphires!!!  We just purchased my ring yesterday.  Now I just have to wait 3 weeks for it to be custom made to fit my finger and the center stone we picked out!!  It is this Verragio ring but the center stone is a 2ct round brilliant blue sapphire!  OMG it is so lovely I can’t wait to get it!!!  I hope I survive the 3 week wait!!!

Here’s my Ceylon sapphire! I absolutely love it 🙂

 I haven’t bought a wedding band yet, but I’m pretty set on this one, because it’s skinny, won’t compete with my e-ring, and has a cool nautical feel to it. Yay for sapphires!

My fiance & I went the custom route as well.  I have always loved blue sapphires, plus it’s my birthstone, so it was an easy choice!  Not sure yet what I’m going to do for the wedding band though.

My engagement ring is a Claddagh ring with a heart-shaped sapphire as the main stone.  We chose sapphire because it’s the birthstone for September, the month we’re getting married. 🙂
