I know! It’s fascinating. This ones a color shifter for sure. It sometimes has a lavender tinge, sometimes not. if it’s in shadow, then the color seems quite different from when it’s in light. This pic is the most lavender and the darkest it ever gets.

Hopefully this counts! I wanted a gemstone center but we were generously gifted the center stone and decided to design a ring around that. Otherwise I would have had a sapphire or even emerald center instead. I love my sapphires!
