You can’t go wrong with either! It’s too bad you didn’t make a poll on this post, because you probably could have figured out your answer by which one you voted for yourself.

I like the thought of pink because it’s a Mother’s Day present commemorating a daughter. You also like pink. So, no brainer, right? But I totally understand being torn because, as PPs have said, the blue is traditional.
I’d get blue.
Happy shopping, Bee!
Well, I almost suggested for you to have a boy child next September so that you could just get two rings: one pink, one blue. 😛 (And I tend to suggest Bees to get both rings, rather than to choose.)
Also, I have a friend whose “push presents” were birthstone rings for her children that she intends to enjoy for 18ish years and then gift to them upon their majority. If you like that idea, going a traditional blue sapphire over pink also makes sense since the daughter to receive it may be more traditional. So many considerations, you know?
Then, I’d totally go with what you’re thinking. Get THIS one in PINK with white gold, enjoy it, and keep an eye out for another blue sapphire ring, maybe with yellow gold. You can gift a ring to your daughter upon her majority, that she picks from between the two, and you still can enjoy one for yourself.
Bling!
They’re both lovely! Such a hard choice!
I’d think about what colors you wear the most and go from there, though.
Good luck choosing!
In that setting I think a blue sapphire would be to die for!
It turns out a bit more purplish than I expected. Here are video link and more pictures.
Now what do you bees think?
