I don’t like the purplish-pink, myself. I’d want a warmer, more strawberry pink. But my skin tone is quite warm, so if you have a cooler complexion, it could work!
Dark blue is pretty universally flattering, IMO, so I think it’s easier to find a blue sapphire you like than roll the dice on a pink one.

I went with a yellow sapphire myself! But between blue and pink I would definitely choose blue. I’m not really a pink person, and the pink sapphires I have seen are all pepto bismol pink. If your heart is leaning towards the pink (which it seems like it is to me), look out for a nice rosey pink stone that doesn’t remind one of medicine

is_a_belle: I’m not so crazy about this purple pink as well. I prefer light or baby or rosy pink. Blue is really not my color. I always think its too cold a color to wear as jewelry.

mgbser: How do you like your yellow sapphire? Actually I was thinking about an orange sapphire with excellent cut. Just not so sure whether I will love the color as much as pink or blue.

luckyladylaterinlife35: Yes I do. Now I’m just deciding which shade of pink I should get 🙂

Are you buying the sapphire separate from the setting? Can you buy it from a different company?
Because I get all of my sapphires here and they have a huge range of colors!

is_a_belle: That is the plan now. Buying the sapphire separately. I have found one on the naturalsapphiecompany last week. But when I contacted them early this week for purchasing, I was told it is SOLD :(. Here is the picture of it.
