partyof2 :  I’m normally not a fan of white sapphire (I find that it doesn’t sparkle much and I  prefer color) but I have to say, I LOVE your ring. It really is stunning – I love the hint of icy blue that peeks through the stone. Gorgeous.

heatherallison :  My grandmother had a ring for a really long time that we recently found out was sapphire (we thought it was a diamond).  It was in perfect shape after all that time.  I think your ring will be fine.

heatherallison :  I have a blueish star sapphire and a blue and white sapphire band. My jeweler said the only way I could hurt it is by taking a blow torch to it.

I have had my ring since October and almost never take it off. I clean them every time i shower with a toothbrush. I make sure they dry well or water will leave spots. And let it sit in Windex once a week or so. I love it many faces ans cool colors.

2.3 carat equivalent on a size 6.
