Peach sapphire! 🙂
Hi….i love sapphires tooo!! here is my e-ring….im waiting on SO to propose! but the band has alternating diamond and sapphires with a pear diamond center….so here is a stock photo!! its amazing in real life….sparkles like crazy….
I love my Ceylon sapphire e-ring… I designed it 🙂
I have a violet sapphire with diamond side stones.
@lovelyduckie: Love this! Are those trillion or heart cuts?
I have pear sapphires as side stones. They are my favorite part of my rings!
@mariebuttons: My ring is one of the designs Krikawa offers, but each one is custom for the stone they set like all of their rings. I requested the wings longer than normal for several reasons some aesthetic some for security. I personally have a love and sentimental attachment to the critters. My fiance loves them too this is why we went with this with our adjustments. Purple isnt super rare but they are uncommon and many big box jewelers havent seen one. There are certainly less of them than white, yellow, pink, and blues. The one I have has what is known as alexandrite color change. It turns different purples, violets, greens, blues etc. Most of the time it is purple or violet but It does what it wants :D. This type of color change is rare it comes out of one mine in Tanzania :).
Here’s my padparadscha sapphire
looove sapphires!!! Mine is a champagne sapphire with diamond halo.
@mariebuttons: That is a great question. I can never remember! I think the dimensions are 8x10mm and I know it is oddly deep, but can never remember the caret weight (though I think diamond caret weight is a different size than other stones anyway b/c of density so it is sort of a poor number to quote since it is misleading anyway… jewelry isn’t my thing obviously). BUT my Fiance and I are going to get our wedding bands this weekend (that’s the plan at least) and I will try to ask the jeweler to get me a weight. The stone was actually something we had first, and for a long time, so it was an atypical buying process so neither of us remember! We were always just looking for a setting to fit the stone, lol.
