My friend is undergoing IVF and her OBGYN recommended that she refer to the SART website to research IVF clinics. the OBGYN recommended a facility but since she and her husband are spending a lot of money out of pocket, her Dr. wanted her to make an informed decision on which clinic to work with. Have you heard of SART (Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology)?
According to their website, SART’s primary goal is to standarize assisted reproductive technology (ART) and provide reliable IVF outcomes and information on IVF clinics across the nation.
For those of you exploring IVF, you may be already educated on the success rates of your clinic but I wanted to share this link with those who are just exploring the idea.
Once you select the state, it’ll list most (90% participation rate) IVF clinics and it’ll provide more details if they are available. The data dates back to 2012, so some of these numbers are bit outdated, but you can get a general/directional read. My friend called a few places after reviewing the report and she said the success rates remained pretty consistent. (but keep in mind she only called three places in her state)
