Fvillarde:  I wish I had advice on Etsy belts for you, but I’m just coming here to tell you how gorgeous and perfect your dress is on you! I do love the belt, and hope you can find one that works for you!! 😀

Fvillarde:  I also think the belt is lovely! I am thinking about ordering a belt from Etsy soon, but I’ve also been stopping into bridal shops and looking when I’ve had time. I have found several belts (including one very similar to the one you have on) for less than $150 – I definitely noticed that belt prices seemed to vary widely by store. Most of the Etsy belts I’ve seen have been less than $50 so I think I’m going to give it a try, but if you don’t want to take a chance you could probably find a similar belt at another bridal salon for much less :).

Gorgeous dress!

I am firmly anti sparkly belt in general so I think $500 is an  outrageous price to pay to make your nice waist look wider than it is.

Very elegant  dress btw, and looks admirably fitted to you .

I bought my sash from SomethingIvory on Etsy and loved it 🙂  Here’s a pic:

I highly recommend Crystal and Pearl Bridal on Etsy:

My dress is similar to yours (I have the Mori Lee 2713) and I ordered the Opal sash:

I like how the shape of the sash mimics the scalloped lace edge of my dress and I love the combination of crystals and pearls. The pictures don’t do the sash justice though – it’s absolutely stunning in real life, and looks much more expensive than it actually is! You can choose to have a white or ivory satin or organza sash, or just the applique. The shop owner, Karen, was very helpful and even custom made a matching hair comb and cuff bracelet for me at my request! Communication was excellent throughout too.

I ordered mine on etsy and couldn’t be happier! It cost $26 and everything was sewn on tightly and done so nicely! I would order from etsy again over the bridal stores, the prices they want for some of those things is outrageous!

I was in the same boat- fell in love with a sash at the store that was half the price of my dress! I was nervous about etsy because I couldn’t return it if I didn’t end up liking it in person. I ended up ordering an appliqué of Amazon- I got free shipping through prime and knew I could return it if the quality wasn’t great. It was less than $20 and I love it. I’m planning on having it sewn onto my dress.

Fvillarde:  Beautiful dress! I’d love it without the sash, but if you like it, it does look pretty. I agree that $500 is crazy for some fabric and rhinestones that you’re going to wear once in your life. Looks like the other bees gave some good advice for where to find one that’s more reasonably priced. When you get it, try placing it maybe a half inch higher than your picture above, just to see how you like that. You have a great figure and the dress shows it off beautifully. I love the lace!
