Just DIY’ed my sash using lace from my mom’s wedding dress and a vintage brooch and pearl beads from my grandmother. The sash itself is pewter satin ribbon (our colors are charcoal and green). Is it too much? My dress is very simple so I wanted to jazz it up and I really wanted to incorporate some of my mom’s wedding dress. Would love to get opinons!

It’s beautiful! Can you post a pic of the dress, too? I’m sure it will go together, but I’d like to see to tell you for sure!

I don’t have a pic of me in the dress, but this is a pic I found on here in the classifieds. When I tried it on in the store I tried it with a Vera Wang flower sash but that was a little too romantic for my style….
