So I have finally decided on my wedding gown, yah! I’m going to wear the Augusta Jones Elaine. Any bees out there wearing the same dress? The original dress comes with a couple of flowers on the bottom of the dress, but the one I tried on didn’t have them.
So my question is, should I keep those flowers or remove them? (I’m not too fond of them from the picture) And if I take out the flowers, would the dress look too plain without a sash?

Beautiful dress! I kind of like the flowers, but I think the dress looks just as pretty without them. I wouldn’t add a sash to the dress whether or not you keep the flowers.

It looks great now! Perhaps a dainty belt/sash?

My dress is very smiliar (Enzoani Esme)
and I am going to wear a lace bolero during the ceremony and a sash for the reception just to add a pop!

I say no sash, that dress is a beauty! 🙂 If you add a poll you might get a few more responses…

Oh, and I like the flowers… 🙂

I vote sash! Without the flowers on yours I think a sash would look amazing if you found the right one

@sherrz325: I vote no sash — the ruching alone gives you a beautiful emphasis to your waist. Were you wanting a sash to add color? If so, I suggest a colorful necklace or bouquet.

I vote sash! with or with out the flowers I would add a pretty, and very blingy sash!

i love the flowers on the original!!!!!
and it kind of makes a point (to me) to show why the dress has rouching where it does and why theres stitching there. otherwise it kind of just looks like a cling?

I don’t think the dress will look plain without the flowers, and I would not add a sash to that dress. Since the dress already defines your waist, I doubt a sash will do anything to slim you and it might detract from the dress’s elegance. That said, sometimes it’s really hard to tell what a sash has to offer until you have your actual dress on (not the sample) and try a few.

Personally I love adding sashes to dresses, but I don’t think your dress needs it. I think the dress looks great with or without the flowers. It’s really a beautiful dress!
