So it’s months away and I won’t get my dress until August, but I’m obsessing over whether I should wear a sash or not. My gown is the Blue by Enzoani Dillon. It comes with a bejeweled sash (about 1.5 minches wide). If I wear a different sash it would likely be silver or purple. Here’s a picture of me in the dress and a picture of another bride who altered the gown and didn’t wear a sash (I love the sleeves she added…seriously considering)
please ignore how ridiculously unflattering my iPhone picture is.

I really like both! I think I like the little sleeves maybe just a little bit better.
ETA: Maybe add a poll!

Tough choice. I think I like the bling sash a tad better.

Definitely with the sash!

I LOVE the sleeves and no-sash look! I’d say go for that 🙂
Also, you look fantastic in your dress!

I like it without the sash. I like with and without the sleeves.

Sash that comes with the dress… no sleeves. Almost my dress twin.

Is there a seam under the bust? If there isn’t I would wear the sash at your natural waist.

I prefer the dress without the sash or at your natural waistline (if, as Zusie said, there’s no seam under the bust that would show). I like sashes that sit at the waistline better than underneath the bust.

I like the sash it comes with.

@Adalita: What dress do you have?
I will be wearing the sash at my natural waist. You can see a seam a bit with the sample gown, but it’s worn out quite a bit, and from the images I’ve seen online of other brides you can’t see it at all.

I like the jewel sash, but worn lower on your natural waist instead of right below your bust.
An ivory (or whatever color your dress is) satin sash would look nice too, but I think a color would be too distracting with the lace.
