The dress has a champagne (“antique ivory”) silk charmeuse lining under ivory lace. I’m wearing a chapel-length veil with it.
I can’t decide whether to add a sash or not. My BMs’ dresses will have a sash-like detail built in, so I’m worried about it clashing.
Here’s a picture of the dress with a sash (on another bee):

Do you have a pic with the sash? And are you wearing a veil?

I vote no sash because of the pattern of the lace on the dress. It’s beautiful !

I think the sash would distract from the beautiful design of the lace.
That is a beautiful dress.

I vote no sash. If you really feel like you need one I would go with something thin just to add a little something. Def nothing over the top.

That is a gorgeous dress! I love this slightly darker color underneath and I definitely don’t think it needs a sash. Let the beautiful lace shine 🙂

I like both ways but voted no sash. If you were going to do one, I’d suggest maybe a plain satin sash in the same colour as the underlay rather than something blingy.

gorgeous dress!!!!! I don’t usually like sashes, but this time I voted yes just because I like how it looks in the pic with the sash.

It really doesn’t need it. Are you wearing a veil? Jewelry? With those things added, you might not feel like you need it either. Have you tried the whole look yet?

No sash. Stunning as it is.

get a dramatic veil or jewlery if you are looking to jazz it up…but that dress is perfect all on its own!

Normally I am completely pro-sash, but honestly, I love your dress just the way it is. I voted no sash.

No sash. A sash cuts across the beautiful pattern on your beautiful dress. The pattern is the feature of your dress. Don’t cover up any part of it!

I personally believe, in this case, the sash makes the gown look more “complete”, at least in pictures. Good luck!

No sach please! I’m in love with your dress. Designer?
