I don’t want to pay a couple of hundred dollars for a sash. I’m planning to wear it for the reception only anyway.
I love this one pictured below that I tried on (this is not my dress) especially how long and and how it looked it on my backside.
Ive been looking on etsy but am afraid to order something I haven’t seen in person. The one pictures cost over $200.
Can anybody direct me!? Ive thought of making one and I might resort to that but thought I’d try you all first!

I bought mine from lostintimeinc on etsy for $66 canadian so probably less in USD, it is gorgeous and a fraction of what they charge at the bridal salon, you can customize the ribbon length and how much coverage you want with the bling.

Go to a nice fabric store, they can show you the trim they offer, you can get your ribbon and they can show you how to put it together. My sash I loved at the salon was $400, the one I am making is $70 or maybe less. They taught me how to do it in the store, showed me best methods and all that. I do suggest a store that either is known for bridal fabric or pagent fabric because chances are these people make outfits on the side and might even do it for a little bit extra then you can see it.

You can buy double faced french satin ribbon and add your own applique. Appliques can be purchased online or at a local fabric or millinery store. It can be glue on or hand stitched. If you aren’t comfortable doing it yourself, a seamstress would do it for a minimal fee.
