Have you considered making one yourself?

When I was dress shopping, I tried on a pretty colored sash at the bridal store. The lady refused to sell it to me because it was a 4 dollar roll of colored ribbon.

Always an option.

I know just how you feel! I also refused to pay hundres of dollars for a sash (I paid just over $300 for my dress). My mother is actually going to make my sash, but if you don’t know of anyone thats good with a sewing machine you could always talk to your seamstress when you have alterations done to see if they could make one for you.

We bought the supplies for mine at a local fabric/arts and crafts store: grand total was $15!

Are you wanting a blingy one? you could always go to a craft store and pick the color and width of ribbon you like best, tie that around your dress, then fasten a brooch of your choice to the ribbon. Much more affordable and their are endless options Smile

Totally agree! The Jim Hjelm sash I liked the colour of was $500…for a lead-weighted sash? Essentially a ribbon containing lead (no crystal work-just ribbon)…hmmm no thanks! Post pics of the sash you end up getting!

How about looking on Etsy?

I saw some crystal sashes at Michaels craft store. Try eBay too. Etsy is lovely but more expensive Generally.
