Ours is pretty simple:

– Can’t wait!

– Can’t come!

I thought about doing more, but I didn’t want to offend anyone, and I also didn’t want to confuse anyone!

I love this post…. I’m searching for some wording myself, so I cant contribute yet.  But I wish more ideas will be flowing!

My fiance is a dairy farmer, I’m thinking of using “ready to party till the cows come home” but I can’t think a good can’t attend.

@dressagetiger: “out to pasture?” or that may be morbid, haha!

Our entire invitation was kind of sassy, because that’s who I am 🙂

@shambley: Wow. That is fabulous. I’m not sure I have the nerve to do that!!!! How’d guests react to it when they RSVP-ed or didn’t??

@love108:

Well, my friends and family know that I don’t put up with much, so it wasn’t a surprise for them (some of the Hubs family thought it was funny, other’s didn’t get the joke… his mother to name one.) I sure did get a lot of RSVP’s! No one showed up who didn’t RSVP, which is what I was most concerned about. I attended a wedding this summer where FOURTY people showed up who didn’t RSVP… just plain rude!

@shambley: I freaking LOVE this! I seriously read it and then immediately showed Fiance and asked if we could do something like this. He voted yes right away! I hope you don’t mind us stealing your idea (is it considered stealing if we ask first?!)

@Dandelion D:

Go right ahead! Glad I could help… it took me a looong time to come up with this, after I decided that the traditional wording just wasn’t going to work for us

@Roe & @love, thanks!!  Fiance suggested, “sadly, the cows are home, we have to milk” 🙂  I”m working on them now!  @shembley – LOVE IT!
