I have a taffeta dress, and the girls are wearing chiffon.  I think it’s fine if they aren’t the same material 🙂

We all wore taffeta at my wedding and were very pleased.  Satin would have been too hot and they found it wrinkled way too much!   One of my BMs said it felt like she was wearing lingerie in public with satin.

My dress was also Alfred Angelo and taffeta, while the bridesmaids word satin. I don’t think you have to match fabrics. 🙂

I don’t think you need to match between Bridesmaid or Best Man and the bride. Its something I have never noticed at a wedding.

My bridal shop pushed me toward matching the fabrics.  I thought it was weird at first, but loved how they shone the same way in the pictures.
