Morning girls! I was hoping to get an opinion.
I will be wearing the Pronovias Fanal dress in Off White satin (below).
I am really trying to find bridesmaids dresses in a darker eggplant/aubergine that my girls could wear again at some point in the future. This means, the less shiny the better. Since most of my girls are big jcrew fans, I was thinking of the silk chiffon dresses in dark eggplant.
Do you think that would look strange with my dress being satin and the girls being a matte chiffon for a September outdoor wedding??

I think the chiffon would look just fine.
I had a satin dress, and my girls had flowy-er less shiny dresses and the combo looked great.

They don’t have to match! In fact, there are times when bridesmaid dresses seem TOO close to the wedding gown and I think that looks a little plain. Go with the chiffon!

Loving the look of the JCrew dress over the floor-length dress. Honestly, I think the floor length is a liiiiittle frumpy, but that’s just imo.

I love the contrast of different fabrics. I love chiffon in general as Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses and I think they’d be a great contrast to satin.

Wow! I am having the same thoughts! LOL My dress is silk, and we picked out a plum color dress for my girls this weekend. The picture helps of the girls with the flowy dresses next to the silky wedding gown. Anyone else have any pics to share?
What do you gals think of this combo? Should i have went with silk insted? The color is lighter in the pic, it is called “Sangria” however it is a bit darker in person. I was goign for a deep plum..
