@NJmeetsBX:  Haha… I was looking on the local boards. Do you still need opinions on this? I live super close to here. The manor house isn’t anything special. It’s okay. NO immediate parking! You have to park down the street at the mill, or at the park up the street. It’s about a block’s walk either way at its closest.  And most people have the reception in the Great Room in Savage Mill, which is basically like a block down the street ^_^

I know this thread is from a while back, but I wanted to chime in to say that if parking used to be an issue, it seems that the situation is different now. My fiance and I have visited the venue twice, and there is immediate parking on the property on either side of the house. They can tell you exactly how many cars will fit if your guests park politely, versus if they park haphazardly (I think it was like.. 30 politely, 15 otherwise). Then, there’s nearby street parking, as well as a ton of parking down the street at the Mill–but based on the fact that the Manor House has a maximum capacity of 110, I don’t think you’d need that kind of overflow parking.

Also, the house has been very recently repainted on the outside (as in, in-between the first and second time we visited), and the inside has been recently redone as well–though I don’t know exactly when. We were originally in the area to check out the Great Room over at the Mill, and though we liked it, it just felt too big for our group. So we gave the Manor House a try, and I’m really glad we did–it’s extremely pretty with lots of good potential photo backdrops. We’re also planning to head down the street to take pictures on the bridge at the Mill, so we should get a good mix. And I cannot emphasize what a wonderful value the Manor House is. It’s absolutely worth taking a look, especially if you’re wedding planning on a budget like we are.
