@lolita39:  Ugh! I was totally banking on using them but if shipping is that much guess it’ll be back to the drawing board!

I used them and loved it. I had no complaints.

I ordered 77 worth of stuff  for 3 sets of 2 different items (LED Lights and Mirrors) I had to add to my shipping in order to get it there in time and it was only 13.50.  Perphaps what you are looking to ship is an awkward item to ship?  Mine where also shipped right to my mother’s door which is in a rural location.

I use etsy and ebay for a lot of my craft supplies.  I would also check michaels and hobby lobby since you can print 40% off coupons.

I actually had a good experience with them.  I did notice that the shipping cost really varies from item to item.  I check the estimated shipping cost after I add each item to my cart, that helped figure out where the cost was.

The items that are costly really just are the ones that are harder to ship (fragile, larger, odd size, etc).  My Fiance buys and sells a lot of used music gear and I’m always shocked when he tells me the shipping cost for some of his stuff.  Shipping just cost a lot more than I ever knew.

@futuremrsk18:  I liked them on facebook so I get news feed alerts from them about sales/shipping freebies.

@lolita39:  Thanks!  I’ve bookmarked some things on their site, but will reconsider (re: run away as fast as possible).

I didn’t think their shipping prices were THAT absurd. They’re a bit expensive when you add the shipping, yea, but you’re going to have to pay shipping on MOST online places so…it’s really a decision if you want to go and have to buy everything separate from craft places if you can find the things you’re looking for, or if you want to just buy it all from one place.

@wabanzi:  Ohh, nice! I just liked them on facebook – I have some time before the wedding, so I’ll wait until there’s a sale before I get what I want! Thanks!

I used them for some centerpiece mirror. They do have outrageous shipping prices, but even with the shipping the mirrors were cheaper than where I found them elsewhere with their shipping. Keep that in mind. If you can find it cheaper elsewhere with shipping, then don’t shop there. But sometimes even with their outrageous shipping, it’s cheaper than other places! 🙂

Pretty much everything I ordered online came with high shipping costs and it wasn’t from this vendor. Hell, my sailboat confetti ended up costing more to ship than it was worth but it was important for me to have it. I don’t think these fees sound any worse than most online retailers.  I suspect the mega-retailers like Amazon have spoiled us with their frequently free shipping, but smaller retailers can’t afford that.  I always look for coupon codes before ordering.

@lolita39:  How strange, I never had that problem.  Were your items very heavy??

I looked up a few previous orders, and it seemed reasonable:

Retail Subtotal $ 138.45, Shipping $ 14.41

Retail Subtotal $ 430.13, Shipping $ 15.82
