 I think it’s too soon to send out Save the Dates for a 2022 wedding. People don’t need a 1 year to think on a out-of-state wedding, especially during a pandemic where travel plans change weekly. I’d wait until late spring.

I would send them no more than 8 months before your wedding date, unless you’re getting married in a super popular location (a beach location on a holiday weekend that books up months out, or some similar logisitical problem).

@Karawho203:  Hi Karawho!  For Save the Dates, it is customary to send  8 to 10 months prior so that your out of towners will have enough lead time to plan.  So, send just to those who are traveling.  For your local folks, you send out about 7 months in advance and your invitations 4 months in advance.  Need help with print design – get in touch.  https://www.facebook.com/mybelovedwedandart — best wishes and congrats!!
