Is it okay to send out save-the-dates using the groom’s home address?
We don’t live together but my name is on the lease (we were looking for a place to live after we got married and found a place a lot sooner than we expected, so the Fiance moved in first) . . .So technically it’s my place too.
We are sending it mostly to his guests who are out of towners (mine are all in town and I plan to personally hand-deliver the majority of them)
It’s going to look like this as the senders info on the envelope:
The future . . .
Mr and Mrs Groom Lastname
1234 Main Street
Anywhere, State Zip

I don’t see a problem with that! Although I’ve noticed on Save-The-Date Cards that if the bride and groom don’t live together, it’s usually the bride’s address. But since you actually call your FI’s place yours too, you should def. send from that address!

good question! we JUST sent out our Save-The-Date Cards and we decided to use his address since i’ll be moving out of my place soon– he owns where he lives now and i rent. for these things, i think it’s perfectly fine to put "his" address. and like you said, it’s your place too!
btw, sooo cute that you put "The future Mr. & Mrs…"!!! i wish i had thought of something so cute as that!
