    Yes, if you don't write "Save the Date" people won't understand what you're sending them.

    Something else I'll explain below.

    I personally would write save the date on there. For anyone planning a wedding (or if they are a weddingbee reader) they may automatically know what it is, but before I started my planning, I didn’t know what Save The Dates were.
