We were engaged last Valentine’s Day and are getting married this summer in Annapolis Maryland.
I thought of a very cute idea about using Valentines day conversation hearts as our save the dates. There would be four individual hearts that looked just like to candy but were magnets. Each heart would have 1 thing on it. Our names, then another one would say the date, then another one would say save the date, and the last one would say Annapolis Maryland. I think it’s a great way to commemorate our engagement of a year and also a really cute way to send the little save the date magnets in a Valentine’s Day card to each of our guests.
The only question I have is about our “theme”. Since we are getting married in Annapolis, we are going to use a nautical theme for our reception. I’m wondering if the save the dates need to match the theme or if they can just be whatever we would like.. Since we got engaged on Valentine’s Day I thought it would be a great way to pull everything together. and also a really different idea. Cheesy?
i’d love to know what everyone thinks and what your opinions are. Thank you!!
