I’m at work so I don’t have them with me, but we just got ours and they turned out amazing! We used a high pixel photo, which I think helped.
We got our save the date magnets from vistaprint and they came out great! As long as the photo is a high enough resolutions you will be happy with how they turn out.
thanks, bees! we are using a high res photo so hopefully that will help. i noticed the save the dates are a standard 5.47×4.21 but with 5×7 envelopes we’ll have extra space. anyone use diff envelopes or have mailing issues?
I don’t have a picture but we loved our Vistaprint magnets! We mailed them out in A2 envelopes that we bought from Michael’s and used a forever stamp with no problem.
We ordered magnets from Vista Print and we love them! They are high quality, yet lightweight. We were able to fit them in A2 envelopes and they only needed one stamp. We’ve received lots of compliments on the magnets as well, and VP has great customer service (received our magnets in a week and a half).
I reccommend VP for magnets. They do a great job and like bee above said customer service is great!
Mine came out fine but half the envelopes were creased or dirty. They sent new ones without issue but it was a hassle. The address labels were terrible though, they were definitely “printed-at-home” quality.
I just ordered my STD from Vista Print, they should arrive this week. Will post when I receive them!
I only used them for the magnets, but I was really happy with them. I don’t have pics, but the quality was good and consistent for all of them. My cousin actually used them for her wedding in 2012, and we still have their magnet on our fridge. She’s the one that recommended them to be. 3 years later, the color is still really bright!
My friend did this for her wedding and I personally didn’t like it at all. It turned out sorta blury and just didn’t look like good quality – HOWEVER her dad took their photo with a regular camera and it was low quality. I think that was what made it look a little bad.
Vista print in general has good stuff though. I’ve ordered EVERYTHING from them and have been beyond pleased. I’d say go for it, but make sure the photo you use is good quality and not like a mobile pic or something
I’m not super stoked about ours, but my fiance is. I feel like ours are hard to read–and we used a high res file.
i’d say go for it, only because if you’re not happy they’ll refund you over the phone.
We did business card-sized magnets attached to bookmarks (both from Vista Print). When we got the magnets, I was sad because the quality was really bad. But we chose to print a picture and white text in a small space, so I fgured that just the best it was going to get. But, I contacted customer service and expressed my concern, and they reprinted them for free, with rushed shipping! The reprints were PERFECT, so crisp and amazing.
Unfortunately my cell camera isn’t th ebest, but let me try to show some pics:
This is from the first “bad” batch:
It’s offset printing, and the registration was off (meaning the pritned colors aren’t lined up) which makes the phot and text look fuzzy/blurry.
I tried to get a closeup to show it better. Look at the right edge of the ampersand, see the pink shadow? You can see it around my boob and my fiance’s shounder.

And now, here are to good reprinted ones. Hopefully the pictures can show the difference in quality!
Look at the text, beautiful and clear!
Hope that can help!
