I just got my STD magnets in the mail, and wanted to share my experience.
While I was really happy with Vistaprint’s design process, the responsiveness of customer service, and the quick delivery, I was really, really disappointed in the quality of the product.
Most of the save the date magnets were not cut well, and my fiance had to trim down the magnets with a pair of scissors. also, about 15 of the magnets came to us with a thin, blue line on the top. It was clearly a printing error. We needed to get them out, and had to hold our noses. The groupon deals make Vistaprint, cheap but it wasn’t worth it. We would definitely not order from Vistaprint again.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience. Thanks for the review!

I am sorry you had such bad luck! I also used a Groupon deal and our magnets turned out wonderful. I was so happy with the STD’s that I bought another Groupon and purchased our Thank You’s.

Had a similar problem, except I wouldn’t say we were happy with the whole process. Had to call customer service twice and both times we weren’t impressed. Magenets finally arrived and they were off center (even though the were centered on proof).
@clcohen: when you cut them did it damage the integrity at all? (i.e did the printed part start to peel off the magnet at all) We’re thinking we might need to cut ALL of them but don’t want to ruin them.

Yes, VistaPrint’s quality is very subpar. I highly highly highly recomment peartreegreetings.com. We did our invites and Save-The-Date Cards through them and the quality, shipping speed, and pricing, are all fantastic.

My friend used Magnet Street and was SUPER pleased with not only the service, but her custom magnets and the envelopes that came with. Having found them for her, and previously called, I was also very pleased with them. They were super helpful and everyone I talked to seemed to know what they were talking about.

awww I’m sorry to hear about your experience. I ordered my STD magnets and didn’t have a problem with them. I used a groupon as well as 50% off and only paid $12.50 for 200! I couldn’t pass that deal up….and paper/stationary was definitely not a priority in my wedding.
