- Wedding: March 2014
1. We just ordered our Save the Dates, and it just struck me that nowhere on them does it say “Formal Invitation to Follow”. Is this going to be a problem?
2. About 80% of our guest list is going to be traveling over 500 miles to get to our wedding, so we’re going to have our wedding website up and running by them with hotel block , airport shuttle, free parking (important since the wedding is in a downtown area!), and other useful travel info available. Basically, guests NEED to see the website. The url for the site is on the Save the Date magnet itself, but I was thinking about throwing a business card sized note in there saying something to the effect of “Traveling? Check out our wedding website for hotels, airport info, and more!”
So question 2 is, should I go ahead and do that, or is it completely unecessry? I want to do everything within our power to get the older generation to check out the website to see how easy and fun the wedding weekend will be, despite the long journey on their end.
Question 3 – If I do have some website cards made up, should I go ahead and put “Formal invitation to follow” on the bottom of those, so at least it says it somewhere?
