Who did you address your save the date to? Mrs and Mr Bob Hardy or Bob Hardy? Also my aunt and about four of my cousins all live in one house and they are all invited, who do I address my save the date too? Can I just put one person’s name?
And did you hand write the address on your save the date enevlope?

i chose to address my stds a little more informally than i would my invites since they were postcards. i would do Bob & FemaleBob Hardy. And then do “The Hardy Family” if the cousins are younger. If the cousins are older I would address one to Aunt & Uncle and then separate ones to the cousins (CousinA Hardy, CousinB Hardy, CousinC Hardy, CousinD Hardy)

@profiterole: Only problem is my save the dates are magnets so they would have about 5 save the dates on the fridge instead of just one since they all live together. Kind of silly I think. Just not sure if I should address for each cousin or just one for the entire family

If they’re all in the same house, I would just put them on the envelope. Not 5 magnets.

I think it’s okay for the family of aunt and cousins to say “The Smith Family,” especially since it’s magnets. If it were cards or a postcard, I may reconsider…but, I think the magnets, it may be a waste to send 5 to one fridge, as you said. And as far as the other people, we did Mr. Bob and Mrs. Jane Smith. So, I guess about as formal as we did for the invites.
And we did printed labels for all invites. My handwriting isn’t too good, and I can’t imagine having to handwrite all the labels. I think it would be cruel to the mail carrier and my hand. 🙂
