I used a photoshop photo, added a megnet back, and handed them out at our family hannukah party.  Everyone there knew who we are, so the invite is very informal.  I plan to email the image to those that are distant.

I guess its easier when you decide you are going to only invite people you actually email with.

I just ordered my save the dates from vistaprint last night. You can upload your own design or use one of their templates. If you choose to upload your own design, there is a template to show you where you can/cannot put text on the back. The postcards are on sale for $19.99 for 100 + shipping and any extras you add. Unfortunately, the free deal isn’t running now. But, $20 is still pretty cheap!

I had an etsy seller design mine. It was so cheap. She did it exactly to Vista Print sizing, and I had them print it. It came out great!

Her shop is PicNickDesigns. Loved her! I have been raving about her all day because I am so impressed. πŸ˜‰
