Really, just look at examples online. Figure out what you like and then start playing around in a photo editor. I use photoshop cs3.

Check out vistaprint, they have free template and you can print super cheap. There are many others that I can’t think of right now, but I’m sure other Bees will come to the rescue. Good luck!

This is what I’m planning on doing since it’s cheap and seems kind of fun:

I’m sending post cards from vistaprint.com, you can get so many free postcards (75, I think?) and all you have to pay is postage for delivery.  Then you have the postage to sent them.  They even have magnets if you want to go that route.  You’re given the ability to create your own.  I’m sure if you don’t like their styles (check floral for wedding ideas), you can upload your own…whether you created it in photoshop or basic paint.

Hopefully that helps!

I did my Save the Date postcards (100 for about $30) on http://www.printsmadeeasy.com. I thought they were easy to use, you can upload your own pictures and they have a ton of different fonts/layouts to use. They also arrived about a week after I placed the order, and their customer service is great.
