Magnets. They are small and stick to the fridge so people will be reminded. : (4 votes)

If you’re looking to save money, I’d definitely say postcards are the way to go – you can get them for super cheap and I think they are adorable. If people want to stick them on the fridge they can always just use a regular magnet to do so! Smile

Try VistaPrint.com for post cards.  They run all kinds of sales, and no one will think you’re cheap at all.

I don’t think they’ll look cheap at all! It’s definitely what we’re planning on doing – I think it’s a cute and unique idea that most people won’t have seen too much!

And I agree with the suggestion of using VistaPrint – I’ve heard great things about them and that’s the website we plan to use!

I really don’t think Save the Dates are necessary.  You can spread word of your date via word of mouth- I feel like that’s more personal anyway, that someone took the time to individually tell me, hey, here’s when our wedding will be.  And it’s the cheapest option!

We’re doing postcards on the cheap (but they don’t LOOK cheap)!  😉

I think Save-The-Date Cards can be very informal and I’m not worried about my postcards coming off cheap.  They’re actually just a formality, and can be skipped if you want.  We decided to do them because we got such a great deal.

I voted for postcards but I may be biased! We’re doing STD postcards and were thinking about getting them through mypublisher.com. My future SIL did her thankyou cards through them and they turned out great. Not sure how they compare, price wise, to Vistaprint. Good luck!
