Our wedding is August 2013 and I sent out the Save-The-Date Cards last month because it’s a Destination Wedding, but I did postcards and magnets. Both were custom designed (the postcards by my friend, the magnets by me) and I ordered them from VistaPrint. I paid $67 with rush shipping for 100 post cards (the heavier cardstock) and 50 magnets.

I then put them into some cute, blue A2 envelopes that I ordered from Ebay that I paid about $6 for 50.

I just couldn’t decide between postcards or magnets with a calendar, so I decided on both! 🙂

I think sending them out next month will be great. I did the magnet too, and I wanted to make sure it had a calendar and date circled. Just my preference. I love your selection above with the couple. I think it will look great once you upload your picture 🙂

here’s mine from http://www.savethedatemagnet.com/

everytime I get a post card save the date, I lose it so this is why I prefer a magnet.

I’m planning on sending out our StD cards in January, just so they don’t get bundled into holiday cards and misplaced or forgotten. I’m designing them to fit in a #10 envelope (easy mailing!) and they’ll have a vine-timeline on the front and our details on the back.

Guess I better get to work!
