Hello Bees! I am considering scroll invitations similar to this one for our fairytale forest wedding next spring. We haven’t decided on our colors yet, but I’d appreciate some suggestions for save the dates and ceremony programs that would complement the scrolls and not look too matchy-matchy.
Editing to clarify that I’d like ideas for types of save the date and program stationery to use, not color suggestions!

seejanebee: Thanks for the color suggestion!! I edited my post to make it more clear though that I’m looking for different styles of stationery to go with the scrolls.

pocketbridetobee: that save the date you posted as an exaple is PERFECTION! If it has a matching program, then boom, you’re done!

pocketbridetobee: Ah! Woops- now I get it haha.
I will be using http://www.cardsandpockets.com for my invitations. They have tons of color and paperweight options – best of all it’s amaingly well priced. All you need to do is find a printable layout you like. Good luck!

pocketbridetobee: what if you did a fairytale book cover as your save the date?
I did a save the date in that “Nicholas Sparks” type of cover for her wedding and it turned out really nice. I even added a “library card” on the inside.
I think i am imaging a book cover that turns into the story, like in the Cinderella animation. Anyway, may not be what you were looking for but i hope it helps!

I think the two examples you provided are perfect. Either would work without being too matchy.
