- Wedding: May 2013
So I’m in the process of creating Save the Dates for our 20th anniversary vow renewal here in Phoenix. First off pics of my venue. Its spring, so are the darker colors okay? I mean over all, it is my decision. This is a very casual, non-traditional affair, so does it really matter? Then do I have to choose matching invites??? This whole thing has me confused! But the good news is! we picked a venue!
okay, now its in May, which is spring, it will be greener than it is now, but if not Who cares, its our day, this is where we are doing it, because this is where we originally married on May 8th 1993 (wow, that feels weird). But here is a photo of our wedding back then…
okay, so now on to Save-The-Date Cards (I hate that short term for Save the Dates)… Anyhow. Our colors then were just blue and white. Our colors TODAY are much bolder with a Royal Purple, Navyish Blue, Silver, and Black, with hints of hunter green (trust me, it looks good, I got the paint chips to prove it)… It sounds alot worse than it is.
Okay that being said, these are the Save the Dates we like. It is spring and the colors seem aweful dark, but these are our colors and our day… So which one do you like
Or this one that has NOTHING to do with our wedding colors at all, but seems more appropriate for the venue? Is this approrpiate? and would this be okay?
And, we are substituting our originally wedding photo for this photo of us on Mothers Day at the Diamondbacks Game! LOL
Thanks for your opinions bees:)
