I think you could send them, but don’t count on people booking early unless you explicitly tell your guests via an insert in the STD or something that there will be limited room due to the bikers.

I doubt anyone will book their rooms this far in advance, so I don’t think sending STD soon will help you much.

Have you considered talking to the vendors you have already booked to see if you can change your date?

Agree with @mrsjesse: I’d be asking a lot more questions, to see if you can’t change the date… after all your Wedding is still over a year away.

Also, your guests can get rooms in another hotel, or even in the town over.  They are adults.

I doubt anyone would book the room that early anyway.  I didn’t evne get any wedding website hits with our Save-The-Date Cards, yet alone room bookings (even though the room info was available).  When I sent the invites out we got a ton of hits and room bookings.
