I’ve started designing our save the dates but I’m having trouble figuring out what information to put on it. I obviously have our names, date, location but what about where we are registered and hotel info? We are going to have quite a bit of out-of-towners so I definitley want to put the hotel info there. Do I put the registry information there as well?

We actually created a website that has the hotel info and registry info. We put the name of the website on our save the date.

DON’T put the registry info in there! I’m actually surprised you’ve registered this far out – aren’t you concerned many of the things you’ve chosen will be clearanced or out of stock within the next year?
I’d leave the hotel info on your wedding website (if you have one). I actually think it’s ok to put the wedding website on there.

@SanDiegoAli-I’m not really concerned about things going on clearance. If they do then we’ll pick something else out. We have already started to receive engagement presents so I’m glad we did register so early. I think i’ve decided to put our hotel info and wedding website on an insert.

I’ve done a few postcards with a calendar on the front side with the general save the date info. On the back side, you split the card like a standard postcard. Use 1/3 of the card to list your hotels or website and the other 2/3’s for your return address and address to the person. It’s a great way to save on the front end. No envelopes and postcard postage!
