We aren’t sending ours out until February or March. You don’t want to send them out to early, unless there is an extenuating circumstance like lots of family coming from really far. 8 months should be plenty of advance in my opinion.

I’m thinking of sending mine out mid-October. All of my family is from out of state, though. Plus, I just really want to send them out!

We’re waiting until the new year. We have a lot of people coming in from out of town, but 9 months is more than enough time to make arrangements. If you send them too early, people will forget about it.

So am I! We are kind of spreading the news by word of mouth and email right now. We are going to send out formal save the dates when we get our engagement photos done in a couple of months.

We are planning on sending them next year, probably February/March. Most of our guests are local and the ones who are not, we will see around the holidays this year so we will give them a heads up.

Seeing as its a hoilday weekend we are planning to send ours out by christmas..

I’m going to send mine by Thanksgiving I think. Everyone is traveling, and it’s easier to get a deal in Charleston if you start looking 6 months to a year in advance. My groupon for Vistaprint expires Nov 8 or something so I figure I’ve got to at least get them printed if not sent by then. We figured they can double as our holiday greeting card (not that we ever do one lol)

I just realized that you already said that, haha

Middle to end of November 🙂 It is a “destination wedding” for most of our guests, so they would appreciate getting a heads up in order to reserve hotel rooms and plan ahead for the weekend.

- Wedding: October 2013 - The Down Town Club, Philadelphia
I’m not sending mine until January. I don’t want them to get lost and forgotten in the holiday craziness.
January gives everyone plenty of time to plan their 4 day weekend in October.

I’m with you on this one! Most of my family will know the date anyways, but we’ll make it ‘official’ after the holidays.
