I need help from all you lovely bees on sending out my Save The Dates.
I am having a Vow Renewal (15 years) Ceremony & Reception Nov. 3 2012.
I want to give most of my guests enough time to plan. We have family & friends that are in 3 different states and want them to be able to plan for vacations and such.
When do you think is good?

six months ahead of time is good.

Thanks for the reply! Is 6 months enough time though for consideration of out of towners? For me, I would want more time.
I dont know though.

I think 6 months is enough time… It’s not during the summer when people are more prone to have vacations scheduled, etc… so I don’t think you need to send them out any sooner.

I think around 6 months is a good rule of thumb unless it’s a Destination Wedding or during a holiday weekend or some other time people may have alternate vacation plans far in advance.

I did mine 6 months ahead of time…and will do invites 3 months ahead.

usually it’s 6 months ahead if most people are traveling, and 3-4 months ahead if it’s mostly local.

Well 6 months seems to be the consensus!! Thanks so much. I really appreciate it.
