I’m not voting because I think it’s “OK” to hand-deliver them, but I LOVE getting mail, so I mailed all mine.

I have received so many invites from friends and relatives hand delivered.  I see no problem with it myself.   But of course, I am not 100% set on etiquette myself.

The way I see it, if I happen to see you the week I am sending invites out, I will hand deliver it to you.  To me it adds personal touch 🙂

Fiance just hand delivered a few cards to his ex-coworkers last week.  I hand delivered some to relatives last week.  Just so happen I won’t see any of my friends so they were mailed out.

I think it’s fine to hand deliver, but I think that they should be hand deliverd to the person at HOME.

i don’t understand all the hype about following etiquette but then again I am totally non traditional about most of it. I hand delivered the ones I could.

I think hand-delivering is fine from an etiquette standpoint – it’s very personal to do it that way, so nothing “wrong” about it whatsoever. I do, however, second the PP who mentioned that she loves to get mail!

I hand delivered all of my in-town family’s because I was seeing them anyway, and it was easier to just give it to them.  My sister was the only one who was upset by it, but she’s also quite the drama queen.

I am hand delivering a few of mine… actually I am hand delivering all the local invitations because the mail system sucks here.

I hand delivered save the dates for family and those whose homes I could walk to. All of invites were mailed, except for FI’s roommates, for the reason PPs mentioned- people love to get mail!
