Saving the cake?

We had a small cutting cake for the photos, and guests had the same cake but in a sheet cake format, so it was easier to serve.  The decorative cake was a single tier, three layer cake.  After the wedding, the top half was shared with family at the brunch.  We cut the bottom half into 8 slices, wrapped them up, and placed it in the freezer.  So every few weeks, we take out a slice, and it’s still super tasty.

Lol but it’s not. It’s normal cake that people are saving for 365 days (more if you consider the cake was actually made a few days ahead of time), and eating. Sorry but that’s disgusting. I’m not even talking about the old tradition, the new version is gross.

Yeah, we ate the rest of our cake by the second month that we were married. We will be ordering a “topper” to eat on our anniversary.
