I’m a hair extension newbie and have no idea what to look for. I wanted to wear them for my wedding day to ensure the curls will hold longer and better through all the heat and humidity of my destination wedding. Upon all the Bees suggestions, I went to Sallys to look for human hair extensions, but I saw them in both wavy and straight as seen here:
Which kind do you all suggest I get? My hairstylist wll probably be curling the fake hair with my real hair anyway on the wedding day, so does it matter if it’s straight or wavy? Should I get the wavy to ensure the hair stays curled since I guess it’s chemically treated to stay that way or will it just not hold in the curls made from the curling iron? Is there a particular brand you all recommend? Sorry for all the questions — and guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

@indecisivebee: I have the euronext extensions. They are straight, and they hold a curl SO well. I would honestly get the straight ones, because they will hold a curl ALL DAY! and that way if you want to wear them again after the wedding you dont have to worry about the texture being different from your hair. I have had mine since December and wear them a lot! and they are still in great shape. So I would def. recommend the Euronext brand. If you have any other questions let me know. Ill try to help answer them as best as I can. 🙂

i am looking for the exact same thing!! i like full, curly/wavy hair (i have thin, straight-ish hair) but I am worried because my destination wedding is very hot and humid and i want the curl to hold in my natural hair as well as the fake hair. i have been researching everything about hair – even lace wigs! i think i may test out manemexx extensions – primarily because it seems the least detectable, appears to be lightweight on your scalp and the bond to the hair doesn’t seem damaging at all. but thanks to @ChellFIsh22 i will look at euronext. did you find the clips feel itchy or heavy at all? might they be detected if the hair is clipped to the side? can you go in the water with them? thanks!!

@mandika: I dont know about swimming, but I have totally worn them in the shower and stuff with no issues! They are really light and not itchy at all! They have a lot of different colors, so try to find one that matched your hair, or you can even color them to make them look perfect. I wear my hair in all different styles with them in, up in a high pony, low bun, to the side, down, half up, you may have to play with it for a minute to make sure they are totally covered, but after you mess with them a few times you get really good at styling them, or a hairdresser could do it much easier for your wedding. And trust me when I say these things hold curls for days! I can curl them and wear them again and again without having to recurl them. So lots of hairspray to keep the curl in your natural hair and the extensions and you should be good all day in the humidity!
