My dress is fairly simple, so I’ve been looking for a necklace that makes a statement while still feels like me. I tend towards simpler jewelry, so didn’t want anything too crazy. I’ve found a couple of options on Etsy, and am hoping for some opinions before I take the plunge!
Here’s my dress:
Necklace option one via BrassBoheme:
Option Two via JCBridalJewelry:
What do you think? My dress is a warm sort of rosy ivory color, and my veil (not pictured here) is an opaque silk the same color as the dress with seed pearls on it. Thanks for your help!

I love the first necklace! I also had a simple dress, and it was so nice ring able to choose a statement necklace.

I would go with #2, only because it is a classic, timeless piece. Perhaps I am biased, but a lot of women around me **hate** looking at their photos because they followed the time’s trend! It’s a gorgeous necklace though. You’ll look stunning in either 🙂

Thank you so much for the comments and suggestions. I actually sent the picture of the necklace to my Future Mother-In-Law. My mom is awesome, but is not a fashion person in any way shape or form, as opposed to my fiance’s mom who wouldn’t be caught dead without her leapord print heels.
Anyway, I texted her the picture and she actually called back to say she’d been intending to wait, but didn’t want me to buy it yet because she wanted to know if I would be interested in borrowing her set of pearls. Her aunt gave her a pearl every year for her birthday, so by her wedding day she had a full set.
My parents will be in town next weekend and I’ll be showing my mom my dress for the first time, so I asked her to bring the necklace and I’ll try it on. She was very insistant that if I didn’t like it or it didn’t go, her feelings wouldn’t be hurt at all. My mom has also offered me her pearl choker, but had said she was worried it would be too short so I wasn’t really banking on it. Maybe if I do the use a ribbon trick to make it longer?

I would seriously pass on the pearls. Pearls are sooooooo passe. Yeah, I know you are gonna get comments they are “timeless”. They are, but not for the dresses coming out today.
Your dress demands some excitement to spark and sparkly it up! Pearls, classic as they are, are gonna lay flat and dull when compared to that big city gown. I like that first necklace.
