Okay, crazy suggestion here and I’m not even sure it would work. I love the look of turquoise jewelry with white dresses. Would that work with the Daphne?

I love both dresses on you, but there is just something about the second dress that made me like it more. I can see why some people are saying its not as bridal but i think that it could easily be made more ‘dressy’ depending on the accessories that you wear with it.

Thanks for the feedback so far everyone! I guess I’m overly and unnecessarily concerned about the length of the gowns; I think either one would work, especially for an outdoor wedding. Now I just have to decide for the J Crew Daphne or the Jenny Yoo Marguex! I like the confetti gown but I can’t really justify spending the extra money on it since either one of these gowns will work.

@Lynzeeroo: Hrm, I didn’t think it had to do with weight. I do like the Jenny Yoo dress more anyway, I really like the buttons on the side. If it weren’t for that jutting out thing, I think it would be an easy pick for me. If you can fix that with a sash (maybe a beaded belt?) or whatever, then I think it’s great!

Hi ladies! If anyone is still interested in which dress I chose, I decided to go with the second gown, the J Crew Daphne. I think it’s unique, love love love the fabric, and will be perfect for a casual wedding! I’m going to pair it with a turqoise necklace and a large gold bracelet. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions!!!
