Today was a hard day…I said goodbye to our invitations. I spent a lot of time deciding on these bad boys. At first, my Fi’s sister was going to make them for us. That fell through when I realized how I couldn’t really count on her for everything. Ended up buying them through Hello Lucky. I fell in love with their paper (the feel is amazing) and their customer service and the overall quality of the work they do. Our wedding is in 75 days and we just sent out our invites! Wooohoooo!!
Then…thanks to Wedding Bee, I found the love that is TWINE! Plus, I found someone who sold orange and white twine. Our wedding colors are blue and orange so it was perfect!!

Haha, I know it’s difficult to part with something so dear! But it’s for the best! Getting the rsvp cards in the mail is like crack, at least it was to us. We’d rush to the mailbox everyday 🙂

Oh man! I cannot wait to get to this part of the planning 🙂 I sent out my Save-The-Date Cards early last week and began getting phone calls and text messages about it by the end of the week. Of course with the calls came the inane/stupid questions, but who cares…those were my babies. 🙂
The invitations look great by the way!

Beautiful! I haven’t started printing ours yet…. I need to get on that asap! I’m going to design the template this week so we can start printing soon. Since our wedding is the weekend of Veteran’s Day, we’re planning to send them out during the first week of September (about 8 weeks ahead).

Putting those invites in the mail was the moment that made everything real for me. We dumped them in the mailbox and laughed that therer’s no turning back now!

Know what’s really exciting? Having people tell you they love your invitations and that they’re beautiful and that they love the wrapping. Aw. So happy. 🙂 Two back so far! Super fast!!! Can’t wait to get the rest!!!
