Truthfully, I think you might be a little wistful if you have time to think about it. On the day of, I think you’ll be so happy about getting married that you might not even notice.

@Soon2BeeMrsG:  How long from when guests arrive to your wedding until they will be given food? You might want to have something during cocktail hour, even if it is very simple.  Drinking on empty stomachs could lead to more drunken guests than you would like. Just something to consider.

I’m sorry to hear about your FI’s situation. 

Can you arrange to get a wedding blessing done with just the two of you and the minister/priest after the wedding? Just find some special downtime and have an intimate blessing?
